SWAN provides rest stops every 20 miles including fresh baked cookies, fruit, sport drink and water. Lunch is provided at the end of the metric century featuring hot meatball subs, green and pasta salads, and home made carrot cake. The Mile Century continues after lunch, and all participants are invited to a free waffle cone at "The Scoop" by the Gazebo.
Download Map Here. SWAN will NOT provide maps on the day of ride. The route will be well marked with volunteers assisting at turns. Please bring a cell phone. Participants will be given a card with vital information including a contact phone number.
Route will head East of Woolley through Hamilton, along the Skagit River to the unique town of Concrete and loop down the South Skagit Hwy back to Sedro Woolley for a delicious home made lunch at the town celebration. This will conclude the Metric Century. Those registered for the Century will enjoy the views of the Padilla Bay estuary and the San Juan islands from the Skagit Flats before heading back to Woolley to join the "Blast from the Past" Street fair and car show.
